Fire outbreak in Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos (Female Hostel known as Bakasi)

Fire outbreak in yabatech female hostel.

there was fire outbreak in Yaba College of Technology this morning (5:am). which took place in the female hostel known as Bakasi which is located beside the school 'food village'

According to an eye witness the fire started gradually as if it was not serious but before they knew it the fire now spread out and wasted properties worth of millions of Naira which includes: laptops, phones, books, cloths e.t.c.

Most of the students in that hostel ran out naked following the shock of the sudden fire outbreak.

However, the school fire service did no come on time, they later came later when most of the properties have been lost but they still stopped  the remaining part that was still on fire.

Thanks to God no life was lost but some were injured and some even fainted.
